Summer Blog

I am trying something different this summer....i thought it would be easier to just do a separate blog for our family summer fun and than when school starts up i can send this blog to the printers and have our summer scrapbook all put together! Sooo, it may be boring to my fellow blogger friends, but it is primarily just a scrapbook in the making for our family! My Living In Oblivion blog will go back to primarily just being my life and I will be cancelling our Easysite, which is the family blogger and switching over to a blogger on here for our family adventures, that will be the Tag Along blog. I am also almost finished with a blog for Jorden, so anyone that wants to keep up with our soldier can do so quickly and easily!

Unscheduled Pool Evacuation

It is Friday night!!!  This means we meet Ed at the pool on New River to swim and than shower, change clothes, and hit the movie theater!  Hoodwinked 2  We had a great swim and were sitting in some chairs talking when i noticed the 'frantic, but trying to not be noticed, mommy look'.  She was looking with great interest at something at the bottom of the pool on the shallow side.  I turned to Ed and said, "I think her child lost something...", than a lifeguard came over and she was pointing and looked to be very apolagetic with her little toddler on her hip and the pointing gestures confirmed what i was pretty sure i already knew.....The whisles blew and our swim was cut short due to an unscheduled evacuation of occupants from the appearance that was confirmed to be a poop ball that had broken free from someones swim diaper....We decided to kill some time at the PX.  We sat on the couches in the electronic section and watched what was playing on the tv's, than went and rented some movies next door and enough time had been blown.  Next stop Hoodwinked 2.  It was a VERY annoying movie.  Ty and Ryan loved it, i went thru all my mental checklists, scrolled thru facebook land.  Ed couldn't take it and had to leave....but all in all, it was another fun Friday night in the Kretschmer house!
