Sunday mornings I usually make a large brunch, this way there is breakfast food all ready to eat for the first couple of days of the upcoming week. Scrambled eggs, tortillas, breakfast casserole, bacon, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, and fruit. Ryan was eating some grapes and Ed says, “Stop eating my grapes!” Ryan and Ed begin arguing over whose grapes they REALLY are. Ed is saying he paid for them and Ryan is asking if he planted them, grew them, and picked them…Ed says, “I am Mother Nature!” Ryan says, “Huh? You are Mother Nature?!” Ed says, “Yes!!” Ryan starts giggling uncontrollably and says’ “Than YOU ARE A GIRL!!!” His fit of giggles turns into his evil laugh as he says, “Bye Bye Mother Nature” and back to giggling his head off and talking about how Dad is a GIRRRRRRRLLLLLLL!
Summer Blog
I am trying something different this summer....i thought it would be easier to just do a separate blog for our family summer fun and than when school starts up i can send this blog to the printers and have our summer scrapbook all put together! Sooo, it may be boring to my fellow blogger friends, but it is primarily just a scrapbook in the making for our family! My Living In Oblivion blog will go back to primarily just being my life and I will be cancelling our Easysite, which is the family blogger and switching over to a blogger on here for our family adventures, that will be the Tag Along blog. I am also almost finished with a blog for Jorden, so anyone that wants to keep up with our soldier can do so quickly and easily!

That's The Word I Was Looking for!
We are talking about just whatever stuff when the word ‘asthma’ came up. Ryan pipes up with “That is the word I was looking for!!! I knew clausrophobic wasn’t the right word when I was saying if you were claustrophobic it would suck to be running outside!!! ” Than he went back to the game he was playing……..
Ninja Farts?
I listen to the funniest conversations between Ty and Ryan....this one was in the car one evening....
Ty, "Silent farts are like ninja’s, they come out of nowhere and kill ya!!!”
Ryan, “Yeah, a girl let one of those ninja’s loose in the hallway and I saw both boys fall down behind her. I think they died…”
The Stare of Laughter
Ty, to Dad, “Stop giving me the stare of laughter!”
Ed, “What?”
Ty, “The stare that makes me laugh until I die!!!”

ZZZZZZZZZ.........
Toooo many nights in a row up waaaay past midnight are finally starting to take a toll on me.....BUT, the fun with friends is always worth the lack of sleep! It is sooo hard to go to bed early in the summer when it is sooo easy to sit outside with good friends or have friends over for fun and games that never end before midnight! Tonight i am determined to get to bed before tomorow starts! It has been raining non stop all day today, when it finally let up i put the dogs out for a quick potty break. Jasper came back in as blonde and beautiful as ever and Leah, well, lets just say it took quite a while to find her face underneath all the mud she had caked on her! What a mess, no picture because we were trying to get out the door to the movies! Finally got her clean enough to lock in her kennel and than we zipped out to see the highly anticipated movie, Kung Fu Panda 2! The boys were excited! Funny to think that Ty was 8 and Ryan was 7 when we saw the first one on Okinawa in 2008. Time sure does goes fast! The movie was not a disappointment. Especially when we can get in, buy popcorn, soda's, hot dogs, pretzels, whatever each family member wants and still stay under $20! Gotta love the movies on base! When we got home tonight Ty and Ryan were doing their normal teasing of each other and Ty said, "Someday you will laugh about this....., but i am going to laugh today!" and proceeded to laugh his head off at whatever was going on between him and Ryan. Too tired to ask what was sooo funny, but glad i am hitting the pillows before 10 tonight! I am exhausted!!! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.......

That Is Just Creepy!
I really love the conversations i have with my kids and listening to their chatter. One of my favorite things about summer is being able to hear more of what goes on inside their crazy lil heads by what they say out loud! Today Ryan and Ty were talking about sharks.....all kinds of things, from atacks to different types, everything......and than somehow it shifted to the little "cleaner fish" that follow sharks around and this is what Ryan had to say, "yeah, those fish just go right inside the sharks gills and that is just like really creepy!! Like, when you pull a rabbit out of a hat!!!"
I couldn't help but laugh! I had no idea Ryan thought a rabbit comming out of a hat was creepy! Than of course the conversation quickly switched over to magic tricks....

Shutting Down
Ryan said he wanted to run errands with me today. So we left to get a few things done....he was sitting in the seat playing his DS. All of a sudden he began talking in a computer voice saying "turn left, turn right, turn left, recalculating, shutting down. You are sooo lucky i am not your GPS Mom!!!"
I never know what is going on in that brain of his!!!

Motorcycles Would Be Easy To Hot Wire
We were sitting on a bench by the water while the boys were eating ice cream when a bright yellow moped pulled up and parked. Everyone couldn't cheese slap fast enough. A few silent minutes passed while the boys finished their ice cream. Than out of the blue, Ryan nonchalantly says. "Yeah, motorcycles would be easy to hot wire...." That kid scares me!!!
I Thought It Was For The Dog
Ryan hates to take showers.....i have to tell him to bathe and than make sure he actually did when he comes out. He came out of the shower with almost dry hair. I told him to go back in and wash his hair. He said he couldn't because there was no shampoo. I thought that was odd, i had just recently put their 2 in 1 shampoo in there. Sure enough, the Suave 2 and 1 watermelon shampoo was in there and quite heavy! I told Ryan there was shampoo in there. He said he didn't want to use Vicki's. I told him his and Ty's was in there and took him in to show him! He looked at it and said he thought that it was for the dogs since it had a picture of a dog on it because i always buy the one with the monkey on it for them. I asked him if he was a monkey! He laughed and went back in the shower and washed his hair.
I Clean Like A Chipmunk?
Summer means toys are played with more often and this means i am endlessly asking the kids to clean up way more than normal or just cleaning up the mess myself if they have already headed out to shoot some hoops or play with friends. I went thru the boys room and completly cleaned it, as well as threw a bunch of stuff away. Hopefully nothing the boys will notice missing.....I showed the boys their room and explained to them, for atleast the millionth time, that this is how it should always look when they are done playing in their room. As always, they said, "okay Mom". Later that afternoon Ty ran into his room to get something. The "something" was not so easy for him to find. I could hear him grumbling about not being able to find the "something". I suppose it is easier to find your favorite toys when they are always laying on the floor, but to Ty's dismay everything had been put away in all the right places. He had to actually open things! I had all the leggos in small rubber maids for each thing that they made, with all the small rubbermaids in one large leggo rubbermaid, all the Star Wars guys were in a rubbermaid and so forth...Ty finally found what he was looking for and came out to where i was doing dishes and said, "Mom, you clean like Alvin the chipmunk! Everything was hidden away!"

Are Ya Tryin' To Kill Me?
Conversation while Ty was making a sandwich..
Ty, "Do we have any lettuce?"
Me, "Um, no but just use broccoli."
Ty, "Mom!!! What?"
Me, "Well, it's green"
Ty, "Mom, are ya tryin' to kill me?!!!!"
I just love the extra summertime chatter i get with my sillies!
